The worship team
of New Life Providence Church consists of a united, multi-ethnic group
of believers who desire to use their gifts and talents through
singing and/or playing instruments. These worshippers have
devoted their lives to leading people into God’s presence.
“It is also our mission to present the highest level
of excellence in music that is attainable,” shares James
White (JMAW) who serves as director of worship and performing
arts. This level of excellence starts with our leaders and
is modeled by every member of Providence’s worship team
ministry.
New Life Providence’s
worship team consists of these musical units:
Vocalists
Our vocal team consists of frontline singers, song leaders, and worship leaders. They represent various musical backgrounds. Those interested in singing should contact JMAW or Tim or come out to our Thursday choir rehearsals at 6:45pm. For more information call us at 227-6930
Musicians
The musician team is a group of talented, skilled men and
women who have made a commitment to use their abilities for
God’s service. This group includes keyboard players,
bassists, guitarists, drummers, and percussionists. Members
should be able to read chord charts. Qualified and interested
persons may speak with JMAW to arrange an audition. This group
plays for the gospel choir and praise and worship vocalists
at Sunday morning services. Required rehearsals are held every
Thursday, 7:00 - 9:30 pm.
Sound/Media
The media arts ministry provides the church with needed technical support
for all events requiring sound and/or multimedia reinforcement.
These events include, but are not limited to rehearsals, all
Sunday celebration services, concerts, and remote events.

Special Music
These individuals provide ministry as soloists or special
guests at various events and Sunday morning services. If you
are a singer, instrumentalist, or in a small group and would
like to minister, you can contact JMAW directly.
